I never really pay attention to the birds outside (I'm not much of a bird person). They're usually just pigeons or crows. Today I was surprised to find quite a different kind of bird, and chatty ones at that!
Aren't they gorgeous? There was a whole flock of them, but those two seemed happy to be together.
Surprisingly, Winnie was focused more on her ball than on the birds.
I think she knew the birds were too far to be worth barking at?
We have some wild parakeets that live here in San Francisco. They actually made a documentary about them, called "The Parrots of Telegraph Hill." Funny you mentioned how they were "chatty" because I know a big problem with the neighborhood residents where the SF parrots live is that they are WAY too talkative!
Winnie is a 3 year old female tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is my first dog- my pride and joy. She's the type of dog who loves to live. She loves anything and everything and enjoys life to the fullest. I hope to compete in agility, rally, and herding trials with her in the future :)
